An Exit
A dance-driven animation
Winner of the Pépite/Gold at the 2020 Festival International De Danse Animée and screened at prestigious venues and festivals, including Fantoche (15th International Animation Film Festival), Venice Film Week, and Kyiv Lights Festival.
An Exit is a research on kinetic synthesis, a visual exploration where the boundaries between the human figure, emotionality, and movement dissolve into an organic form. Dance is not the subject but the expressive language: a choreography that investigates the concept of femininity and the constraints imposed upon it by our society.
The project began as an initial experiment in blending techniques and styles, turning limitations into something unique and personal.
Selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick, it marked a turning point in my career—the moment I first approached professional animation and gained a certain level of international visibility.
